LCD versus CRT: They both have their advantages
Here is a side by side-by-side comparison of the 2 types of prompter displays. The LCD (left) is smaller and lighter and works great indoors. The CRT (right) is often the preferred choice for outdoor shooting, where the prompter display must compete with higher ambient light levels.
